My Kettlebell Challenge - Day 1

I'm starting my own kettlebell challenge. I'm going to follow Pavel Tsatsouline's Simple & Sinister protocol, which equates to practicing the kettlebell swing daily as well as the Turkish getup. With that said, I fully expect to miss a few days, but according to Pavel himself, that is realistic and somewhat expected. My goal is to get up to 100 kb swings and 10 Turkish getups each day; for TGUs that 5 per arm. Hitting these numbers are actually quite easy but I have never been consistent, as in I get a few days in every few months. The slow and steady approach with the focus on technique will hopefully help this time around. Usually these challenges have a set number of days but not this one. I'm going to keep going.

And I have already started. This evening I completed 70 KB swings and 6 Getups. I want to pace myself so I don't get burnt out or injured. As it stands I am recuperating from a bruised (or fractured?) rib that I sustained in men's summer lacrosse league and I don't want to aggravate it.

For the record:
SW 7x10 30lb
GU 3x1L, 3x1R 12 lbs
