...what a pain.
I joined a fitness club a week ago that is a stone throw away from my office building. The incentives, perks and my desire to get fit made it an easy decision. I started a lunch-hour circuit training class today and it was hard work. We worked on upper-body and did some cardio. Tomorrow we're focusing on the lower-body and I imagine more cardio.
My goal for working out is not to "bulk up", but rather, to tone muscles, improve my cardio health, lose a bit of weight (I put on approximately 15 lbs since I started my job in March '06) and, well, just get back into shape. As much as today was "not fun", I eagerly look forward to what tomorrow brings, sore muscles and all.
