In the Sunday Oregonian (Sept. 10, 2006), there was an article about new houses in the Portland area that were inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright. One in particular caught my eye. The Oregonian listed the address so I drove by one day at lunch to take a look myself and snap some pictures. You can see the results in the gallery below:
I have have always been interested in residential architecture and that is what initially inspired me to look at this house, but what also caught my eye is the landscaping. I love how simple the landscaping is, how they incorporate native plants and a relatively small patch of grass.
While I would love to live in this house and the neighborhood, the $1.5m price tag is a tad high.
