Today numerous key players met in the boardroom to discuss the agenda, presentations and content of a company wide Controllers and IT Conference. As I'm still fairly new at my company, this was a great opportunity to get to know people's personalities and see their quirks.
The conference will be held in Anaheim, California in September. I will be a presenter during the "IT Only" portion of the conference and will cover the Learning Management System that I am implementing. At this point it looks like my presentation will need to be 30-60 minutes and will be in front of approximately 50 attendees. This is not my idea of "fun" but I am looking forward to the opportunity and challenge.
