On Memorial Day Weekend, the big day was Sunday. Race Day. Not only was the Indy 500 on, but so was Formula 1 and NASCAR. I invited my brother over for the Indy 500. We taped the Formula 1 race since in all of CBS's infinite wisdom, they chose to play it at the same time as Indy. (CBS, for crying out loud, don't play it during Indy. If nothing else, play it during the NASCAR race when the open-wheel racing fans won't have to think twice about what to watch.) Oh well. We started watching the taped tape-delayed race after the first 10 laps of the NASCAR race. After F1 we did turn on NASCAR but didn't pay much attention to what happened.
